Consumer City is one of three short books made for the Time Capsule brief. Each stands alone but together they form a trilogy. This volume looks at London as a consumer city, fast, grey, isolating. A place full of people but empty of connection.

I manipulated found photos and overlaid them with handwritten notes. The main idea being that London is lonely. The spreads are raw, fractured, more diary than documentary. Instead of celebrating the city this book exposes its noise, culture and loneliness.
