I filmed the journey holding the camera close at intimate angles to create a sense of extreme physical closeness yet extreme emotional distance. The experience is designed to reflect the same feeling, isolation and detachment that London City creates today.

To visually reflect the characters thoughts I edited a variety of experimental clips of myself and London to explore narrative without using words. These layers create effects of paranoia, overthinking and anxiety, an immersion into London Underground.

I recorded a full sound archive using trains, crowds, machines and ambient noises to design a full immersive city atmosphere. Every element was built to immerse the viewer into the narrative.

Content warning: This film explores themes of dissociation, isolation and overwhelming anxiety.
The film runs 5m:20s. It wasn’t made to entertain but to immerse. A raw document of London experience. No words, just grey repetition, suffocating noise and isolation that gnaws away. It’s the city through the eyes of an everyday Londoner trapped in the race, pulled closer to the edge with every step.

Truly intense, It's almost like being inside his head.
